Field Survey in Kim Xuyen (Hai Duong) and Soc Son (Hanoi): Farmers Satisfied with the Effectiveness of EMUNIV Bio-Products for Straw Management
Yesterday, the Center for Environment and Community Development (CECoD), in collaboration with CPART Joint Stock Company, conducted a field survey in Kim Xuyen (Hai Duong Province) and Soc Son (Hanoi City) to assess the effectiveness of using the EMUNIV biological product for straw management in the recent crop season.
The survey results showed that applying EMUNIV not only helped effectively treat post-harvest straw but also contributed to improving rice yields. Many farming households in both localities gave positive feedback, noting that fields treated with EMUNIV developed well, had softer soil, fewer pests and diseases, and maintained stable productivity. Importantly, many farmers shared that they felt more reassured since they no longer had to burn straw as before—a practice that once caused severe air pollution, especially in peri-urban areas.
The survey revealed that most farmers expressed trust and satisfaction with the effectiveness of EMUNIV. Many households also confirmed their intention to continue using the product in upcoming crop seasons to manage straw on-site, reduce environmental pollution, and improve soil quality.
CECoD and CPART highly appreciated the cooperation of local farmers and reaffirmed their commitment to continue providing technical support and expanding the model to other regions in the near future—contributing to the wider adoption of sustainable, environmentally friendly farming practices.
